Countryside River

The Meadowlark sings a song so sweet,
And the geese honk a tune that's neat.
But none of the sounds are as quiet as the river,
With it's solemn sound that causes you to shiver.
The steady water flows like a wonder,
So steady it sounds like a swarm of thunder.
When you come across it, you'll hear a sound,
That means that the river has been found.
When a flock of loons have been sent,
That means that time's been bent.
Adios, good-bye, see you later. Write a letter to send,
That means it's now The End.
